Dancers Studio Showcases

Four times a year, the students and staff strut their stuff in the Dancers Studio Showcases. Everyone is invited to enjoy delicious catered hors d’oeuvres, social dancing to a live DJ during intermissions, and hours of entertainment! Performers can demonstrate their dance talents in a relaxed, friendly, and supportive environment. Student couples dance together and there are also many student-teacher partnerships.

Each dance is highlighted in all levels: opportunities to see anything from beginning Paso Doble to advanced Viennese Waltz await!

Participants show their skills in both freestyle (click on word for video) heats with other couples on the floor or dancers can pick a special song to dance a solo (click on word for video) number to with a partner.

The Next Level

Competitions take Showcase preparation up a step. Held in beautiful hotels around the country and across the globe, ballroom dance competitions are happening every weekend of the year. These events can have a schedule of one to six days full of glamorous gowns, stylish suits and, of course, fabulous dancing. Similar to the Showcases at the Dancers Studio, students can dance in freestyle or solo heats. The difference is couples can choose to simply perform their dances or compete against other pairs. Competitions also offer chances where students can do several dances in one event and win money!

Dancers Studio students participate in many competitions annually. Some events are attended by mainly amateur couples, while others have a focus in student-teacher couples.
